Bye Bye Furniture...

Each day, I woke up seeing less and less of my belongings. The sofa, book selves, coat rack, dining tables, chairs and stools... one by one, disappearing from my home.

We are going back to the time where we first arrived in Pittsburgh 5 years ago, where our apartment comes empty with no furnishings. Now, the floor are filled up with boxes and things that we are still trying to get rid of.

We have much to thank the Lord for. He took care of our worries, about having to sell all the things, especially the more expensive items like ipod touch, Printer/Scanner, and today we got a deposit from a buyer for our Air Conditioner unit. Praise God! We've been trying so hard to sell that. Because the weather's not helping. I've never experienced such a cool winter in the last 5 years. We've been enjoying nice weather in the lower 20s degreeC. And, in God's grace and mercy, we are finally down to one last dining table to sell, which we are also thankful that it still remains unsold. (Because Bryan still needs to use it.)

It is sad having to part with personal things, especially these things we've (NO, just me) grown so attached to. From the month of August, we'll have to leave our apartment as our lease is due, and then stay with our friends temporary until we leave Pittsburgh on 25 Aug 2009.
